You are invited to bring either your top 10% or your top 4 pupils in Year 6 (which ever is greater) to this Talent ID day. Your selection should be based on the pupils ability to perform a number of multi-skills in a range of activities - not just their ability in one sport.
So we are looking for pupils who are talented in:
- Agility - quick feet, turning sharply, light on feet, hopping, jumping, able to perform foot patterns
- Balance - stable when working with body and when controlling or striking objects
- Co-ordination - hand-eye, hand-foot, co-ordination of body and when usingin equipment
At the talent ID days the nominated pupils will take part in a range of mulitskill activities. Approximately 40 pupils will then be selected to attend the Swindon Talent Academy in July.
This session is for schools in the following clusters: ISAMBARD, DORCAN, CHURCHFIELDS, COMMONWEAL, ST JOSEPHS, HIGHWORTH and KINGSDOWN.
