Holy Rood Juniors and Wroughton Juniors Triumph

On Wednesday 2nd December, the boys under 11 football competition was played at Isambard and Greendown School. Over 25 teams registered for the competition with 2 places at the Wiltshire County Finals up for grabs.

Swindon Academy host the boys and girls U13 Table Tennis Competitions

The first Under 13 girls’ table tennis competition was held on 13th October and teams from Isambard, Commonweal and Ridgeway schools all took part.

Year 7 Girls Futsal Competition

9 teams of Year 7 Girls from Swindon and North Avon Valley School Sports Partnership took part in an exciting Futsal tournament on Monday 7^th December, held at the Futsal Arena, Swindon.

Access Day is a Great Success

The Partnership held the first Access Day of the year for pupils from Special Schools or Mainstream Schools with units. The event was held at Oasis Leisure Centre on Thursday 26th November and was attended by over 100 pupils.

Key Stage 4 Badminton Competition

Swindon Secondary Schools have been very busy competing in the North Zone badminton competitions - which are part of the national competition pathway for the sport.

Swindon SSP holds Primary Active event

Over 200 children descended on Next Generation on Tuesday 17th November for our first ever Primary Active Event.

The purpose of the event is to re-engage pupils who have lost interest or in danger of losing interest in PE and school sport.

Commonweal win Swindon Schools Swimming Gala

The swimming gala was open to all secondary schools in Swindon plus Wootton Basset & Bradon Forest School from the Avon Valley Partnership.

On Tuesday 1^st December, the best of Swindon and North Avon Valley Schools cheerleaders performed in a Pom Dance and Cheerleading competition hosted by Isambard Community School.
